Creating a business account
Setup runs register, confirm email, confirm phone, then two-step verification. The dashboard stays locked until all of it is done.
The sign-in screen is different from the personal one
Business accounts use a dedicated business sign-in screen. Business credentials will not work on the personal screen. See Personal vs business accounts.
The four stages
- 01RegisterBusiness name, contact details, email address and password.
- 02Confirm your emailEnter the code that arrives by email.
- 03Confirm your phone numberEnter the code that arrives by SMS.
- 04Two-step verificationWhen enabled, a code is required each time you sign in.
If the email, phone or two-step stage is incomplete, you cannot reach the dashboard or any feature screen. Being returned to a confirmation screen means one of them is outstanding.
Confirming your email
A code is sent immediately after registration. Use the resend button if it does not arrive.
| Check | What to do |
|---|---|
| Spam folder | Mark the message as not spam |
| Corporate mail filtering | Company domains often filter aggressively — ask your IT team |
| Typo in the address | Register again, or contact support |
Corporate mail systems filter far more aggressively than personal ones, and that accounts for most missing codes.
Two-step verification
Business two-step verification uses email approval followed by SMS confirmation.
-
Approve by email
Request it from the settings screen; an approval code is sent to your registered address.
-
Confirm by SMS
After the email step, a code is sent to your registered phone number. Entering it completes the setup.
Codes go to one individual's email address and phone number. If that person leaves or moves on, nobody can sign in.
Update the contact details in the profile settings before the handover. Doing it afterwards takes considerably longer.
Resend is not available immediately — wait before pressing it. Pressing repeatedly does not send additional codes.
Forgotten password
From the business sign-in screen, choose "Forgot your password?" and enter your registered address. Enter the code you receive, then set a new password.
Sharing one business account between several people is not recommended, because you lose track of who did what. Use employee accounts to distribute funds instead.
Changing your profile
Business name, contact person and contact details can be changed in the profile settings. Your email address and phone number also receive two-step codes, so confirm you can receive on them after any change.
Some fields become fixed after business verification (KYB). Request those changes through a support ticket.
