Employee accounts
A business account can move funds directly into an employee's wallet. It exists for advancing expenses and distributing allowances.
This is not a third-party remittance feature
It exists to distribute funds to employee accounts linked to your business. We do not offer transfers to third parties, assignment or cash-out to customers residing in Japan.
What it does
- Lists the employee accounts linked to your business
- Moves funds into an employee's wallet
- Toggles certain feature permissions per employee
Typical uses are advancing expenses and funding business card top-ups.
Distributing funds
-
Open the employee list
Choose "Employees" from the menu to see the accounts linked to your business.
-
Choose a recipient and amount
The amount comes out of the business balance. If there is not enough, it cannot proceed.
-
Confirm
The employee is notified once it completes. Their balance may take a short while to reflect it.
Funds cannot be pulled back to the business account. Check the recipient and amount before confirming. A mistake has to be resolved directly with the employee.
If it does not work
| Problem | Cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Employee not listed | Not linked to the business account | Check their registration status |
| Insufficient balance | The business balance is too low | Deposit into the business account first |
| Completed but not reflected | Still processing | Wait, then check the history |
If it stays unreflected, send us the employee name, date and amount in a support ticket. Check the history first so you do not distribute twice.
When someone leaves
An employee account belongs to that individual. Funds already distributed cannot be recovered by the business.
Agree internally, in advance, how business balances are settled when someone leaves or changes role.
